General Comments :

...Though my answers were incomplete and not to form, do consider that I have participated in your lovely quiz at least in spirit and intent! How does not love rain songs. Had to select a favourite but 'saawan ke din aaye
sajaniya aan milo' by our friend Vanraj is way up there, maybe the best for me. Laxmi-pyare's 'rimjhim ke geet saawan' is also a beauty. More to be heard than seen, of course :)  - Robin Bhatt

.... two times I looked at the quiz and though some of the pix seem familiar, and all are lovely, there is no one I could be sure of.But it is such a well done and interesting quiz! - Fukuyama Kiriko

....really liked the new avatar of the Chitrahaar quiz, using actual stills from the song's picturization instead of textual clues constructed by the quizmasters. A few years back, there was a 'series' on RMIM called "tasveer
aur tasavvur", which somehow never caught on, although it was based on (what I felt) was a very imaginative idea: give nettors a (still) visual clue, and have them suggest the song they think would be the most apposite to that image. I think the 'non-quiz' nature of the T&T series may have been the thing that caused it to be short-lived. In any case, I was pleasantly surprised to see visual clues in your Chitrahaar "v. 2.0", so to speak. One
can only hope that this version of the quiz, at least, is here to stay. Thanks, once again, for an enjoyable quiz. - UVR and Neha

My Comments:
* Thanks a lot for participation.... Your encouraging comments made it a worthy effort for me specially in the context of new format... of course the format is here to stay... The idea behind the quiz was some great visual
memories provided by good old Chitrahaar on Doordarshan in mid 80's... There are stills (songs) that you cant throw out of your mind and can cherish them forever... I can never rub off the memories of Nadira singing in a boat"Kuchh aur zamana kehta hai" or Premnath on a Piano singing "Ae jaane jigar dil mein samane aaja"... Can you? I bet everyone of us has at least a handful of songs in this category... I hope this quiz will not only
entertain you but also provide a trip to nostalgia thru the visuals..

Anyone interested in hosting a future quiz, please drop me a mail with the proposed theme for the quiz, also inform, if its difficult for you to manage the stills...
